Nationwide Spiritual Protest is a prayer program organized by Dr. Oyeyemi Akinsola (Sweet-Melody) to intercede for Nigeria using spiritual weapons, such as prayer and others.

    1. Pray for the nation wherever you are during any of the hours of prayer: 12 AM, 3 AM, 6 AM, 9 AM, 12 PM, 3 PM, 6 PM, and 9 PM
    2. Join us Online to pray along in any of the prayer hours on ZODMOX TV on Facebook at @oyeesm.
    3. Submit a video prayer of up to five minutes via our WhatsApp at +447459194684. It will be featured on our broadcast list on the TV.

    4. Submit a link to your musical video of worship, hymns, praise, or a message for the nation. It will be featured on our broadcast list on the TV free of charge.

What is the purpose of this Nationwide Spiritual Protest?

The Nationwide Spiritual Protest is organized to intercede for our dear nation using our spiritual weapons of warfare. The Bible says, “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem” (Psalm 122:6-9). As children of God, we cannot ignore the current situation of the nation. Nigeria is believed to be a land filled with milk and honey, but today, many things are wrong. Various individuals have tried their part, but to no avail. The government has also tried its best to put things in order, yet there is no solution. That is why we believe that calling on the God of our Fathers—Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—for divine help is the best solution now.

What does the Spiritual Protest mean?

It means using the fruits of the Spirit and prayer to wage war against the powers and principalities that are obstructing progress in Nigeria. It is written, “For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds” (2 Corinthians 10:4).

The word “Protest" may sound a bit harsh; what do you have to say about this?

A protest can be defined as an action to express disapproval of something. This Spiritual Protest is an act of warfare to express our disapproval of all the negative situations in our nation, Nigeria, including economic challenges, insecurity, the high cost of food commodities, and more. We are using our spiritual weapons, such as prayer, fasting, and others, to put an end to hardship and suffering so that poverty can be alleviated.

Nigeria is a religions country, however do you think people will agree with you on this matter because many had prayed before now?

The people of Israel were children of God. God loved them, yet they accused Moses at the Red Sea. people may not even join the protest but God will save His people. Our situation was just like that of the Israelites at the bank of the Red Sea when the Egyptian armies were behind them and the sea was in front of them. It seemed as if there was no God. The people began to complain and said to Moses, 'Because there were no graves in Egypt, hast thou taken us away to die in the wilderness? Wherefore hast thou dealt thus with us, to carry us forth out of Egypt?' (Exodus 14:11). Moses called on God, and God asked him about his rod. He used the rod, and the sea parted. Our rod today is prayer and all other fruits of the Spirit. Let's use them now to save our country.

*Who are the people to join the Protest?*

All children of God across the globe are expected to join the Spiritual Protest. Esther sent this message to Mordecai: Esther 4:15-16, “Mordecai, go and get all the Jews in Susa together, and fast for me. Don’t eat or drink for three days and nights. I and my women servants will fast too. After we fast, I will go to the king.” Just as Esther called the Jews to fast along with her, we are calling all the saints, not only in Nigeria but across the world, to join us in using our weapons of warfare, such as singing hymns, praising and worshipping, speaking in tongues, giving prophetic utterances, prophesying and making biblical declarations, prayers of forgiveness and restoration, and fasting.

*Are you sure this method can restore Nigeria in the current situation?*

Of course, yes. In the Bible, the bones in the Valley of Dry Bones came back to life in Ezekiel 37:1-10. All we need to do is to prophesy and speak to the situation of our nation, and the same God who parted the Red Sea for the Israelites will do it again.

*How will the program be conducted?*

People just need to note the day and pray, sing, praise, worship, speak in tongues, and prophesy wherever they are, either individually or in groups. Those who want to join us can do so by logging in to Zodmox TV on Facebook at @oyeesm. We will feature various men of God and singers across the globe at various hours of prayer, starting from 12 AM on 24th October 2024, for 24 hours.

*Who can be part of this wonderful prayer protest?*

Every concerned child of God. A participation button is available for people to submit video prayers of thanksgiving, forgiveness, and restoration. Musicians can submit songs produced for Nigeria through the Singtel button.

*How much is required to participate?*

No fee, no amount, and no payment is required for participation. The Spiritual Protest is a prayer program embedded with praise and worship to our God. Any willing soul is free to join us.

*What is your assurance that this event will restore Nigeria?*

The Bible says in Romans 10:13, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Psalm 107:20 says, “He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions." The power of God can save our nation if we truly trust in Him. I am one hundred percent sure that God will answer our prayers and that Nigeria will be restored.
